About
The CAG Health and Health Care Study Group and the IGU Commission on Health and the Environment will hold a pre-conference workshop between August 2-5, 2018 in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. The pre-conference workshop is intended for faculty, post-doctoral fellows, graduate students and health practitioners interested in sharing their ideas on health, healthcare and the environment prior to the joint meeting of the CAG and IGU in Quebec City, which is being held August 5-10, 2018.

ACCOMMODATION
A block of rooms have been reserved for meeting participants at the Residence Inn by Marriott Kingston Water's Edge at a preferred rate of $229 CAD per night. To book a room, you must call the hotel at 1-844-719-7738 (toll-free) or
1-613-544-4888 (long distance may apply) and mention the code "IGUCAG Workshop". All activities will be held at the hotel, apart from the BBQ on Saturday, August 5, 2018.
The Residence Inn by Marriott is strategically located within five minutes walking distance of the historic centre of Kingston and is a 15-20 minute walk to 54 Kensington Avenue along Lake Ontario, which is where the BBQ will be held.
TRANSPORTATION
Kingston is located 265 kilometres east of Toronto and 294 kilometres west of Montreal. You can travel from international airports in Toronto or Montreal, by intercity rail (VIA Rail), intercity buses (Megabus or Greyhound), or by automobile. Upon arriving in Kingston by rail or bus, taxis are available. The approximate taxi fares from the train or bus station are about $15.00 - $20.00 CAD.

The deadline to submit an abstract HAS BEEN EXTENDED to June 29, 2018 at 4:00pm EST.
Presenters must register for the workshop and pay the workshop fee in order to be eligible to present their work.
